The only time I get to do it is at work and here lately I have been so busy at work. So since I had to get rid of my facebook, I will try and keep you all updated on here. I am 19 weeks right now. I had to go see the Dietician this past monday for my Gestational Diabetes, to learn how to control my diet and what to eat at certian times of the day. That went really well and I learned alot.

This monday I go to see my doctor to talk about everything I learned and to see if he wants me to check my sugar level's everyday. They hospital gave me alot of free stuff, the stuff to take my sugar level's, lunch box and diaper bag. He also is going to decide if he is going to put me on meds or shots. Then on Wednesday the 20th which i'll be 20 weeks, we find out what the sex of the baby is. Im so excited about that and so is chad.

I will try to write more after the doctor's visit's next week. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

10 Weeks

I had my 10 week visit on Nov 6Th which is Chad, my Mom and Chad's brothers brad birthday. I got to see the baby again, which was doing great and getting bigger. My cyst is smaller now. So the visit went real well.

Saturday morning I got up and cleaned house, my mother in law Christa came over and we went grocery shopping for all the stuff for the party that night. Then my mom and sister's and nephew's came in and we all went to longview to eat at Texas Road House and the Cribs Galore to pick out our baby furniture. I love mine, it was kind of expensive but real nice. Then for there we went to the mall and got marnitey tops and then head back to the house were chad and dad were starting the grill to cook hamburgers. That's when I started to bleed, it scared the life out of me. We load up and I went to the ER where they went on to give me a IV because I was dehydrated. They also told me that I might go on to lose the baby. That I need to go home and rest and not go back to work till I talked with my doctor.

So yesterday my mother in law went in with me to the doctor and he told me that I did not have Placenta Priva like the ER doctors told me. It is way to early for me to have that. You don't get that in the first trimester, that you usually get that in the 2ND to 3rd trimester. He showed me the scaring and were the blood clots were and that I would continue to pass old blood up to a week. He said everything is fine and they baby was super active..Baby Groves was just a dancing, kicking its feet and punching its hands. That the next 4 weeks I need to take it easy and not over do it but he didn't think I need to go on bed rest because that would not help anything. He said sometimes this happens and you can bleed alot and the baby be perfectly fine.

I believe that god is the one that saved us both, I started to pray right away and didn't stop till I knew everything was going to be OK and still kept on. I felt at ease even before going to the doctor yesterday. My baby is truly a blessing and will never truly know how hard his mama and daddy have worked and prayed to bring it into this world..This child is truly loved, more then the air I breathe. I want to thank everyone for all the prayers, phone calls, text..It truly meant the world to know there was so many out there that cared.

Last, I went into the doctor today to do my one hour glucose testing and will be called later if I failed and need to come back in for the 3 hours. I finally also got my H1N1 shot today. That is it for now and I hope to post more soon. Hopefully Ill get my scanner working and up load all my baby's pictures. My child's has had 6 pictures since being conceived and gives me a show each time. I did get to hear the heartbeat for the first time in the ER, which Ive seen it but never heard it. Oh well, you all have a very blessed week. Ill write more later. My next doctor's visit is November 30Th in Shreveport for chad and I to be tested then another ultrasound on Dec 7.

8 Weeks Visit

I know, I know..I'm behind on getting this done but just have not had time. My 8 weeks visit was on October 23, which was also my birthday. I think the best present I got that day was to see my baby's heartbeat. Although I love what ever one else gave me too. But that was one of the best moments of my life. I made trying so long worth just seeing that tiny little heart beating so fast and put me at ease. I so wish chad could have been there to see it also. My mom went with me. I have to go back Friday November 6 for another ultrasound and to check me out for diabetes because I already have warning signs of that. Also I have a cyst on my ovary that is about the size of a grapefruit, but he is not to worried about it. He says they form sometimes after the baby comes out and go away over time. Also when we left the doctor's office my mom bought Becca and my baby book. I love it and already have started filling it out. Also on November 7th we are all going to Longview to Cribs Carole to pick out or baby furniture. I'm so excited about that. We were supposed to do it today but they are closed on Wednesday's. So that's it for now, I'll post more on my 10 weeks doctor visit.

From the Bible

Psalm 139:13-18You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!

7 weeks visit

OK so I didn't get my ultrasound done today. I'm only 7 weeks pregnant, so instead they took 5 tubes of blood and made me give a urine sample. They went over my medical history with me. Went over there different options I will have to take certain test when I'm further along. Like to see if the baby will have down syndrome, my sugar levels which they will check every time I come for a appointment and if its not normal then they will do the 3 hour test were you have to drink that nasty stuff. I was glad my mom was there today with me because she was able to answer some questions I was not sure about. I also need to decide to take birthing classes now. Which they strongly recommend and I'm sure I will. Plus I got a ton of free prenatal pill's samples, so I don't have to pay from them yet. I got to choose which kind I want so she gave me plenty of them two samples.

So now I'm going for my first ultrasound on October 23,2009 which is my birthday and I will be out of town but I can pick up my mom from work and we can head back to Marshall. That's going to be so exciting. I'm a little bummed I could not do that today and was so looking forward to it. So that's the updated on everything that happen today. They did tell me when I'm 20 weeks they will do the ultrasound where we find out the sex and I can have whoever I want with me. So that means, chad, my mom and Chad's mom can all be with me and even my sisters if they can get off to come. I wish I could be there for Becca's but its to far and on a Friday. Most likely it will just be me, chad, mom and Christa. I so can't wait for that to happen.

Finally, the morning sickness had left'ed me for the day and I have been able to eat normal. Hopefully this stays this way because if it don't Ill have to go on a prescribed med's because its not good to throw up all day, couple times is fine.

Hope everyone has a awesome day today.

Babies, Babies, Babies

I got inspired to do a blog of Chad and my life, by Michelle and John Vrana, my cousins. I thought it was so neat that they were doing this on themselves. Since they lived so far off it was nice to be able to look in on them from time to time. Especially when they found out they were pregnant with my little cousin miller.

So now I will keep everyone updated and informed about chad and I and our baby that is on the way. As most of you know I found out about 3 weeks ago that I was pregnant. It was one of the happiest days of both of our lives's. We have been trying for so long and I have had somethings wrong with me that I didn't think I would ever get pregnant. I can't explain to you how it feels to know you are pregnant. When that nurse walked in and showed me positive on the piece of paper, my heart exploded with happiness, I started crying my eyes out and thanking God. Without him none of this would have been possible. My child is truly a blessing from God and I will thank him every day even when I feel like poo.

Morning sickness has finally kicked in the last 4 days and I have felt so ill and not able to eat much. I try not to complain to much about it because I'm so happy to be pregnant. My husband has been so sweet and loving and understanding. I thank god for him to, even when we have our down moments which couples tend to do from time to time but I would not change anything for the world. Chad has already started rubbing my stomach and talking to the baby. As most of you know from my blog on Facebook, our child is the size of a raspberry this week and is forming eyes, lips, ears and nose. Its heart is already beating 150 beats a minute. That is so awesome.

Also as most of you know my sister is pregnant too. This is so awesome to me. We are two months apart and our kids can grow up together. She has been having some problems with her pregnancy so keep her in your prayers. Hopefully soon, I will be able to post some pictures of us both.

Tomorrow I go for my first ultrasound, so Ill hopefully have some wonderful news about my experience.
